1802 Draped Bust Cent. S-241. Rarity-1. Stemless Wreath. EF-40 BN (NGC). Glossy deep copper surfaces with otherwise bold definition that wanes appreciably only along the left reverse border. The strike is well centered on both sides, nonetheless, and the surfaces are relatively smooth despite the presence of scattered marks and light pits in the left and right obverse field areas. A popular Guide Bookvariety with an engraving blunder that omitted the stems to the branches in the reverse wreath. PCGS# 36347. NGC ID: 224F.
