1825 Capped Bust Half Dollar. O-109. Rarity-5. VG-10 (PCGS). Well-worn slate-gray surfaces exhibit rose-gray high points. A rare and desirable die pairing that has earned the coveted Rarity-5 designation despite years of searching through the known examples of this date. Especially smooth and attractive. Not noticeably marked despite a lengthy stay in circulation. A scarce variety in all grades. PCGS# 39656.
