Richly original olive-copper patina with a few swirls of variegated crimson and charcoal color associated with light, ancient surface build up. This is a nicely struck example, the impression well centered and the overall detail sharp. Glossy in texture with no detracting marks. The Georgivs Triumpho is a popular type celebrating the American victory in the Revolution led by the triumphant George Washington, supported by France, and sealed by the Peace of 1783.
