1838 Capped Bust Half Dollar. Reeded Edge. HALF DOL. GR-15. Rarity-3. MS-62 (PCGS). Lustrous, original surfaces with pleasing coin-gray and light silver toning. Some light contact marks and signs of handling define the grade. An interesting variety and die state with lots of neat die cracks to study on the obverse. Provenance: From the Iron Eagle Collection.
