Tompkins Die Stage 6/4, Rea et al. Die State d.<p><strong>Steve M. Tompkins Commentary:</strong> I may have acquired this coin from my dealer friend Rex Phillips at Oakwood Coins. A rather late die stage, the die has buckled due to the advanced die cracks at the bust of Liberty, which explains the weak strike in the opposite area on the reverse, affecting the eagle's beak and the letters ST in STATES.
