T. W. J. Collection. Brilliantly sparkling beneath a good light, blazing white splashes off of both sides as the coin tilts back and forth. A closer look brings out subtle Arctic-blue iridescence overall, as well as a considerable number of delicate greyish toning spots, mostly on the obverse. Liberty assuredly displays some of the "scoop head" characteristics often seen for 1924-D, yet the shield details exceed expectations, given that each rivet head can at least be made out.
