1826 Matron Head Cent. N-5. Rarity-2+. Noyes Die State B. MS-63 BN (PCGS). handsome medium brown surfaces with a bold to sharp strike extending throughout much of the design. Satiny in texture, with only a trace of light carbon in isolated areas precluding an even higher Mint State grade. A prominent obverse rim break (as struck) outside star 6 readily identifies both the 1826 N-5 variety as well as Noyes Die State B.
