A very HIGH END example! At the very least, this GEM is ranked among the top of the Condition Census for this somewhat scarce R-3 die marriage. It is quite possibly the FINEST known. A truly gorgeous Capped Bust half dollar, offering a radiating satin luster that glows along the frosty, mark free surfaces. A delicate olive-tan, golden-russet, and soft azure tone kisses the surfaces, giving this wonderful GEM a great look. Totally original, this beauty has impressive quality, both aesthetic and technical. PCGS 66, NGC 39, CAC 16. This is the coin that we sold in December 2019 for $8,225.
