FROM THE INCLINE COLLECTION Fabulous luster abounds throughout the fields on this SUPERB 44-S Wartime nickel. Sharply struck steps, definition in the portico is a little light because of an advanced state of a broken reverse die. Impressive lustrous brilliance in the satiny smooth surfaces bursts through a very subtle blush of clear gold tone. PCGS 15, NGC 0. Just a single MS68 is graded finer. The only MS67+ FS to ever sell in auction realized $1,763 in the 2016 ANA auction and keep in mind that the 68 FS brought $14,100.
