Heavily worn with much of the peripheral detail on both sides gone, including virtually all of the stars. The date remains clear enough, however, and the shape of the digits and their relation to one another confirms obverse 1 of the issue and, by extension, the LM-1 15 Stars attribution. Further confirmation is the outer berry between the letters NI in UNITED, which identifies reverse C, although that die also appears in the LM-2 pairing. Originally toned olive-gray surfaces exhibit numerous fine scratches on both sides. A suitable filler example for the budget minded type collector in need of a Draped Bust, Small Eagle half dime.
