Roman Powers Collection. When properly graded, a choice about-uncirculated three-legged buffalo nickel can be nicer than a low-end UNC. This example is so free from abrasions that it hardly seems to have circulated at all, until one notices faint rub on the highpoints. Ideal pewter-grey embraces the entire surface, energized by substantial remnants of flowline vibrancy. As nice as this famous variety can possibly be for the grade.
