A shockingly beautiful example! While the '53 Dahlonega Half Eagle remains one of the more abundant dates for this Branch Mint, at this grade level, you can find no better coin. Tied with just one other 64+ example at both PCGS and CAC. Incredible lemon-gold centers are framed by mild olive-gold peripheries - a color scheme that cannot be artificially created, and as such, serves to bear witness to the originality of this example.
