1800 Draped Bust Silver Dollar. B-10, BB-190. Rarity-3. BB Die State III. Very Wide Date, Low 8. AU-58 (NGC). The offered coin is an impressive near-Mint State example of this early issue, showing considerable mint luster and lovely champagne-gray toning, with faint olive accents at the borders. Typically soft across the central reverse, but crisply detailed on the obverse and on the peripheral legends. A conditionally scarce piece, with minimal high point wear and just two or three trivial contact marks noted on the obverse.
