1949-S Franklin Half Dollar. MS-67 (NGC). A beautifully preserved second-year example from the San Francisco Mint. Boldly struck with shimmering mint luster, and just a tiny bit short of Full Bell Lines. Speckled russet and olive patina covers much of the reverse, and adorns the obverse peripheries. Tied with just five other coins as one of the highest-graded pieces from this date and mint, at NGC.
