- 1787 Fugio Copper. Pointed Rays. Newman 10-G, W-6700. Rarity-5. UNITED STATES, 1/Horizontal 1. VG-8 (PCGS). Chestnut-gold surfaces exhibit uniform light roughness under low magnification with a patch of red patination present at the obverse rim near 10 o'clock. No heavy marks are seen by the unassisted eye. A scarce and popular variety within the Fugio series, one that is on many want lists. PCGS# 892.
