This overall boldly defined example sports lovely sandy-gold patina and fulsome satin luster. Solid Mint State quality for this underrated issue, a date that is far rarer in all grades than the 1875-S and 1876-S issues with which it is often incorrectly grouped. Only 15 examples of the date have been certified finer than the present coin by PCGS. This impressive piece would make an important addition to either a better date type set or an advanced collection of Liberty twenties.<p>
