1799/8 Draped Bust Silver Dollar. B-2, BB-143. Rarity-4. BB Die State I. 13-Star Reverse. AU-53 (NGC). Flashy and bright with lustrous surfaces that show a pale golden blush of toning. The strike is sharp and the surfaces show minor marks around the periphery and a few scrapes on the devices from short-lived circulation. A scarce die variety at this grade level and always in demand for the overdate feature. PCGS# 40066.
