1807 Capped Bust Half Dollar. O-114. Rarity-3. Large Stars. Fine-12 (PCGS). Lavender-charcoal patina blankets both sides of this deeply toned, smooth-looking Fine. Softness of strike is noted for the obverse portrait but wear, although heavy, is evenly distributed over devices that still retain some sharper definition in isolated areas.
