1828 Capped Bust Quarter. B-1. Rarity-1. AU-50 (NGC). CAC. Really a charming example, both sides are fully original in preservation with mottled overtones of steel-blue to a base of warm pewter-gray patina. Glints of luster persist in the more protected areas of the design, further enhancing the appeal of this AU type candidate from the challenging Large Diameter Capped Bust quarter series of 1815 to 1828.
