Lot 57 1844 N-7 R2+ NGC graded MS62 Brown.Glossy light chocolate brown with frosty lighter brown in protected areas, particularly on the obverse. The only notable mark is a dark stain on the bust tip and the upper half of the 1. E-MDS, die state a, before the lump formed under the main curl. Our grade is AU50.The attribution and COL Ellsworth Collection provenance are noted on the NGC label. NGC population 2; 3 finer: 2 in 63, 1 in 65.
