1874-CC Liberty Half Eagle. EF-45 (NGC). Deep honey-gold with orange-gold highlights and lively retained luster in the deepest design motifs. Evenly worn and minimally marked to the unassisted eye. One of 21,198 examples of the date struck, the vast majority of which saw modest to heavy circulation in local commerce -- we note that NGC has certified just a solitary Mint State example of the date, that called MS-61. Choice for the grade. PCGS# 8334.
