1909-S Barber Quarter. MS-65 (NGC). Brilliant satin white surfaces are intensely lustrous with a sharp strike to the focal features. The 1909-S is a scarce to rare issue in the finest Mint State grades, as are most mintmarked Barber quarter issues, most examples of which circulated until heavily worn or lost.
