1925-D Buffalo Nickel. AU-58 (NGC). David W. Lange's comment on the 1925-D in the book <em>The Complete Guide to Buffalo Nickels, Second Edition </em>is particularly important in regard to the present example: ""In problem-free, well struck condition this is one of the most difficult dates in the series."" We offer just such a coin here, both sides with an uncommon sharpness of detail that is hardly affected by a trace of light high point wear. Overall smooth, as well, and further enhanced by delicate pinkish-gray iridescence. For the grade, one of the nicest '25-D nickels to pass through our hands in recent memory.
