1722 Wood's Hibernia Halfpenny. Martin 4.1-Bb.2, W-12690. Rarity-3. First Type, Harp at Left. AU-55 (PCGS). 112 grains. The surfaces are attractive with no handling problems or spots, in fact the obverse and reverse have a pleasing even brown color. The strike is sharp on the obverse, with minor softness on the usual areas of the reverse, such as the angel and the face of the effigy. No planchet problems and both dies show a few hints of age, middle die state for this pairing.
