- 1857 Braided Hair Half Cent. C-1, the only known dies. Rarity-2. MS-65 BN (NGC). Swaths of pinkish luster glow from the obverse border, accenting the otherwise smooth chocolate brown complexion that dominates. The fields are impressively satiny and without disturbances of any sort, delivering a remarkably handsome aesthetic throughout. PCGS# 35339. NGC ID: 26Z3.
