- 1820 Capped Bust Half Dollar. O-103a. Rarity-2. Curls-Base 2, Small Date. AU-50 (PCGS). Original surfaces with charcoal-olive, blue-gray and orange-gold peripheral highlights to otherwise even dove-gray patina. Expectably sharp at the AU grade level, and devoid of outwardly distracting abrasions. The reverse is rotated 45 degrees counterclockwise from normal coin alignment.
