1942/1-D Mercury Dime. FS-101. MS-62 (NGC). A keenly sought overdate variety, which has become a key issue in the Mercury dime series, along with its Philadelphia Mint counterpart. Obvious doubling is seen on the date. The creamy-beige surfaces are well preserved, and the design motifs are crisply struck. An extremely scarce variety in Mint State.
