Lot Description

This captivating example is intensely vivid in a bold blend of multiple rich and inviting colors. Shades of antique copper, crimson-red, and lime-gold are seen on both sides, the deepest toning encircling the obverse periphery in a lower crescent. In our opinion, this coin spent many years in a cardboard mint set holder that housed Uncirculated sets when ordered from the Mint. Pristine and a delight to behold, only the strongest bids will be competitive for this beautiful condition rarity 1949 quarter.<p>
