The 1875-CC is a popular Carson City double eagle that is frequently chosen to represent that mint in U.S. gold type sets. And this is a handsome AU example with a tinge of warm rose patina to deep honey-gold color. Sharply defined through the centers to allow full appreciation of this iconic design. Some faint hairlines are a bit more prevalent on the obverse, but there are no sizeable marks to either side.
