Losbeschreibung: A wonderful old friend, one we sold in Part III of the extensive Boylston Collection (October 2021). This GEM has a great look! Ultra reflective mirrors beam from all over offering a superb depth of clarity and they are quite clean for the assigned grade. Essentially blast white with a trace of the faintest golden iridescent hue. The devices are richly frosted and stand out in bold cameo contrast to the surrounding fields. This coin is so high end in fact that it is the second highest CAMEO graded of this date at PCGS and the HIGHEST with CAC approval. Only 700 Proofs were struck. PCGS 1, NGC 0, CAC 1. This coin last sold in October 2021 for $3,760, about the mid way point between its previous auction records. The current CAC CPG value is $4,000 and the PCGS Price Guide value is $4,750.
