That the dies are showing some erosion can be immediately confirmed by looking within the peripheral areas, especially within the outer fields of the reverse, yet the strike managed to pull out most of the desired sharpness. Even the "S" mintmarks stands up bold and tall from the surrounding field. The surface seems a bit nicer preserved than just MS-63 at first glance, but closer inspection finds slight abrading of the cheekbone and upper hair area, possibly faint slide friction from an album.
