Mintage: 124, 610. 3 graded AU-53, 106 higher at NGC. For such a popular series, the population of this late-date key falls well shy of collector desires, even in just the "about-uncirculated" range. There are simply not enough 1914s to go around, and this was a nicely struck example as it emerged from Philadelphia. Handsome dove-grey permeates most of the surface, yet avoids stretches of the periphery area in favor of tantalizing luster.
