The Crimson Collection. Overton-102, XXX edge. "U" in UNITED was so boldly recut that a full curve shows beneath the correctly-positioned letter. While delicately cleaned at some point and now showing apricot hues around the greyish fields, a tinge of luster remains and this is a curiously attractive example. Some at the extremely-fine grade lack detail in the eagle's left (observed) wing, but individual feathers manage to show nicely in this case.
