- 1767-A French Colonies Sol, or 12 Deniers. Paris Mint. Breen-700. No RF Counterstamp. AU-50 (PCGS). CAC. Deep golden tan surfaces with chestnut highlights, somewhat glossy in-hand and not far off that quality under low magnification. Nicely centered and nicely struck, raised area of die rust at A mintmark. Scarcer than the variety with RF counterstamp. PCGS# 158651.
