A fully lustrous and nicely struck example of a prominent key date among Carson City issues and within the Morgan series in general. The fields are faintly reflective and the devices frosty, all sporting a faint champagne-gold sheen. Nicely struck and aesthetically appealing with every twist of the holder. Only lightly marked, the present piece should be seen to be appreciated; if you don't examine the coin you're liable to wonder what all the bidding excitement is about.
