Dollars For Danny Collection. Winter 3-C, with the left mintmark clearly repunched. 14 graded MS-62+, 106 higher at PCGS. That it is the highest Carson City mintage has little impact on the popularity of 1891-CC, this a somewhat flashy orange-gold example. Population figures likely get inflated by attempts to get "pluses" or other upgrades within mint-state levels, but this is simply a pretty specimen -- superbly struck and as lustrous as can be.
