- Description du lot
- 1867 Pattern Seated Liberty Dollar. Judd-592, Pollock-656. Rarity-7-. Proof-65 BN (NGC). Regular die trials striking of the 1867 Seated Liberty Silver Dollar. Struck in copper with a reeded edge.<br /> A fully struck beauty, we note iridescent salmon-pink, powder-blue and pale-apricot undertones to otherwise dominant medium-copper patina. There is a hardly a blemish of note to either side. This "die trial" was probably made for distribution to contemporary collectors as part of 1867 pattern proof sets in copper.
