From a scant mintage of just 1,520 pieces, this popular date hails from a humbling time in our nation's history - when skirmishes were still being fought in places where word of the end of the War had not reached, and others were beginning the rebuilding process. An extremely attractive AU with highly lustrous orange-golden toned surfaces. Minimally abraded with delightfully bold details. PCGS has graded only 10 examples finer.
