1925 Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle. FS-801. Doubled Die Reverse. MS-66 * (NGC). The FS-1925 attribution listed on the NGC insert refers to the same Fivaz-Stanton DDR variety as the 1925 FS-801 double eagle. Boldly lustrous with satiny honey gold surfaces alive with intense cartwheel luster. The strike is sharp and it takes a real eagle eye to locate any marks or blemishes.
