Description du lot
Condition Rarity 1912 Quarter None Graded Finer by PCGS 1912 Barber Quarter. MS-67 (PCGS). CAC. This is an exceptionally well preserved example of this popular type issue in the Barber quarter series. Pristine-looking surfaces are silky smooth with full, softly frosted luster. Well struck overall, most design elements are sharply rendered. The reverse is brilliant, as is the central obverse, but we do note a thin halo of iridescent copper-russet peripheral toning on that side. From a mintage of 4,400,000, the typical Uncirculated coin grades no finer than MS-65. At the Superb Gem level, the Pogue specimen is a significant condition rarity that is sure to see spirited bidding. Estimate: $1,000 - $1,500. PCGS Population: 4; 0 finer. CAC Population: 3; 0. PCGS# 5662. NGC ID: 23ZS. Click here for certification details from PCGS.
