Ex Col. E.H.R. Green and Eric P. Newman Collections as noted on the insert. A beautifully toned example with shades of rich amber gold, and pleasing blue with brilliant silver luster gleaming on both sides. When offered in the Newman sale, it was encapsulated in an NGC MS63* holder, the NGC "*" is for the excellent eye appeal. Sharply struck and very choice for the MS63 grade, the eye appeal is exceptional. Just under the Condition Census for the R-3 variety, this lovely coin offers a lot for a type or date collector. PCGS 46, NGC 41, CAC 6. In the original Eric Newman sale, November 2013, this coin brought $6,463 - which is a very strong price, more than some of the recently sold PCGS MS64+ CAC coins have sold for!
