1917-D Standing Liberty Quarter. Type II. MS-67 (NGC). This important coin is one of only a handful of Superb Gem '17-D Type II Quarters known to the major certification services. It is a thickly frosted, super-smooth example ringed in mottled russet peripheral toning. Generally full in strike, and not really all that far from an FH designation. Worthy of inclusion in the finest SLQ set.
