1890-CC Liberty Head Double Eagle. AU-53 (PCGS). OGH. A warmly patinated medium gold example that retains overall full striking detail and ample mint frost. The mintage for this issue is 91,209 pieces, up more than 60,000 coins from the preceding year's double eagle tally at the Carson City Mint. Face value was $1,824,180.
