Among the FINEST graded for this first year of the new reverse type with IN GOD WE TRUST. This GEM is exceptional in every way. A strong satin mint luster glows from below a layer of antique, collector envelope type toning. Pastel blue, lilac, pewter-rose, and accents of olive-tan. Sharply struck devices on both sides add to the superb allure. Even using a strong glass we are unable to find any defects that affect the super eye appeal. PCGS 2, NGC 4, CAC 2. The last one to sell was the Gene Gardner coin that sold in October 2015 for $19,975. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $9,500 and keep in mind that there are only a hand full of coins graded finer at both services combined, and nothing finer has been CAC-approved.
