Lot Description

Pearly-silver surfaces are richly lustrous and satiny, the obverse with enhancing blushes of iridescence golden-orange toning. Well struck and very pleasing for the assigned grade. A very popular variety with a die gouge off the left tailfeather, appearing as a ridge or bar to the wreath below. Scarce and in demand in all grades, especially in this essentially Choice Mint State grade.
