THE BOYLSTON COLLECTION UNDERRATED DATE. Scarcer overall than it’s Medium Date counterpart. Blazing luster graces fields that look like a sheet of satin. A halo of golden toning adds to the eye appeal. Some light die polish lines and a planchet depression near star 12 are noted on the obverse. Needle sharp motifs are graced with frosty accents. PCGS 5, NGC 2. A mere 8 coins grade finer. PCGS Price Guide lists this date for $6,500. There are no recent auction records for non-CAC NGC coins. A PCGS piece sold in October 2015 for $4,230. With seven years between sales and no white coins available, it’s safe to assume this coin will garner a lot of attention and bidding activity when it crosses the block. Cert.
