Lot Description

1852 Liberty Half Eagle. MS-63 (NGC). Frosty rose-gold devices and mostly reflective fields form a soft and enjoyable cameo contrast. NOt overly marked and choice for the grade despite some faint scuffs in the reflective obverse field; if the field was frosty instead of reflective, perhaps the coin would have been graded slightly finer. All that aside, the present coin is still choice in our opinion and deserves a good going over by prospective bidders.
