"1789" Mott Token. Breen-1020. Thick Planchet. Plain Edge. MS-64 BN (NGC). Deep chestnut brown with a far finer strike than that seen on the thin planchet type. No marks of consequence are noted. Struck from rusted dies. Reverse die state with tiny bear-like cud at upper corner of regulator. Choice for the grade.
