1839 Liberty Seated Half Dollar. No Drapery. WB-2. Rarity-3. EF-40 (PCGS). Peripheral russet toning frames an otherwise silver gray obverse, the reverse more warmly and evenly patinated in iridescent steel gray. Appreciably lustrous EF quality for this popular one year design type from the first year of Liberty Seated half dollar production. Provenance: From the E. Horatio Morgan Collection.
