1843-D Liberty Head Half Eagle. Winter 10-G. Medium D. AU-58 (PCGS). Pleasing green-gold patina with much satiny luster surviving. Boldly struck virtually everywhere save for minor softness at the arrow feathers and a few feathers on the eagle's neck. Conditionally scarce as a near-Mint specimen; Mint State examples are rare.
